Latest News, Life, News, News Camas-Washougal Rotary Club members are inviting local businesses and community members to create gift baskets for Washougal School District teachers and administrators.
Club members will deliver the baskets on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
“Each basket will have (its) own flair and will bring smiles to the leaders that directly influence our youth,” according to an announcement in the Rotary club’s latest newsletter. “Make it a fun event, be creative, and let’s start the school year off with some smiles.”
Club members suggest gift cards, candles, wine, handwritten thank-you cards, unopened snacks and “anything that might make a teacher smile” as gift basket ideas.
