100 Women Who Care Clark County recently donated $3,000 to Family Promise of Clark County, a group that assists local families experiencing homelessness.

The group made the donation during 100 Women Who Care’s May 11 meeting at Salud! Italian Dining and Wine Bar in downtown Camas.

100 Women Who Care is a group of local women who gather four times a year to make a donation of $100 each, to be pooled for donations to a variety of charitable organizations in Clark County.

The group stated on its Facebook page that Family Promise of Clark County plans to use the $3,000 donation as a match for a fundraiser to help homeless students in Clark County.

The 100 Women Who Care’s next meeting will be held at 6 p.m., Aug. 17, at Salud!, 224 N.E. Third Ave., Camas.
