The Port of Camas-Washougal is set to welcome back its annual events after a two-year hiatus.

The Port will host a birthday party for Eegah the Sasquatch at the Children’s Natural Play area at the Washougal Waterfront Park at 3 p.m. Friday, June 3.

“National Trails Day is the perfect opportunity to get out there with the people you love and give back to the trails that bring us together,” the Port said in a news release. (Attendees can) connect with the people near them who share their love of being outside, learn more about the Junior Ranger Program from the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail and become a Junior Ranger.”

The Port’s 4th of July Celebration will be held at Marina Park on Monday, July 4. The event will feature live music from cover bands Shades of Huey and 5 Guys Named Moe, starting at 6 p.m., and fireworks, which will begin at 10 p.m.

The Port’s annual Wheels and Wings community appreciation event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at Grove Field Airport. The event will feature a free hot dog lunch, and an airplane and car show. Spectators can vote on their favorites and trophies will be awarded at the end of the event, according to the news release.

And the Christmas Ships Parade will once again be coming to Parkers Landing Marina at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. Several ships, “all decked out in their holiday finest,” according to the news release, will parade on the Columbia River in front of the marina.
