Book fair to celebrate power of words March 1

A celebration of the written word returns to the Clark County Historical Museum next month. The museum will host a Local Authors Book Fair from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 1, at the museum, 1511 Main St., Vancouver.

The book fair will include 18 new and well-known local authors representing a broad range of genres. Washougal historian and author Donna Sinclair will be on hand to share her work. Other authors include: Jeff Davis, Patty Grasher, Pat Jollota, Gina Mercado and Russell Mickler.

“We are excited to host this event and celebrate the many talented authors in our community,” said April Pereira, the museum’s outreach and public programs manager “We hope that people of all ages will come out and enjoy this special event.”

The Local Author Fair is a free event for all ages, including children, teens, adults and families.
