A first podium finish back at his hometown track will have to wait another year for Levi Kitchen.
The Washougal native finished 11th in the 250 Class at the Washougal National Pro Motocross event Saturday, July 19, at Washougal Motocross Park.
After back-to-back podium finishes in June, Kitchen missed the top-3 spots for a third consecutive time after finishes ninth and 10th in his two motos on Saturday afternoon.
The placing Saturday dropped Kitchen into fourth place in the season standings with 239 points. Garrett Marchbanks moved up to third with 252 points.
Jo Shimoda captured the top spot in the 250 Class Saturday finishing second in the first moto and first in the second moto. Season leader Haiden Deegan was second with a 1-2 finish. Marchbanks was third.
