Fire contained at industrial park building

A fire caused minor damage to a Port of Camas-Washougal industrial park building on Nov. 18.

The fire, which occurred at 4035 Grant St. in Washougal, was fully contained to a single bay and put out by emergency responders, according to Derek Jaeger, the port’s business development director.

Neighboring businesses experienced minor smoke and water impacts but remained accessible, according to Jaeger.

“At this time, all surrounding businesses are expected to remain operational as cleanup efforts continue,” Jaeger said.
