Voters will decide the fate of a massive overhaul to Clark County’s aging justice system this fall.
The Clark County Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to place a $366.2 million general obligation bond on the November ballot. If approved by taxpayers, the measure would fund a sweeping remodel and expansion of the 1980s-era county jail along with upgrades to courthouse facilities and construction of a new headquarters for the sheriff’s office.
