Prosecutor: Helena Villa-Rodriguez made ‘deadly decisions’

A judge sentenced a Washougal woman to nearly 36 years in prison Wednesday for shooting at her former boyfriend and his new partner in March 2024 as they drove on Interstate 205.

On Sept. 1, a Clark County Superior Court jury convicted Helena Villa-Rodriguez, 29, of two counts of first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault and drive-by shooting.
