‘A beautiful blend’: Camas coffee shop Radiate Coffee a gathering place for community, all abilities

New business operates as both a for-profit and nonprofit enterprise

What’s more invigorating than a good cup of coffee? Here’s what: good coffee in a convivial neighborhood coffee shop with house-made cinnamon rolls and a dish of fruity New Zealand-style ice cream.

You can find all that at Radiate Coffee and Community, which recently opened on the west end of Camas. But the best thing of all is that you may be served by a disabled adult experiencing the joy and dignity of their first paying job. If that doesn’t warm your heart, then maybe you need many, many more cups of coffee.
