Washougal football teams clinches playoff berth

Washougal had a playoff berth to clinch Friday night. The Panthers just needed to wake up and play like it.

After a sluggish start, Washougal found its rhythm in the second half to pull away for a 42-12 win over Hudson’s Bay at Kiggins Bowl. The victory secures the Panthers (4-4) a postseason berth and sets up a showdown with Hockinson next week for the 2A Greater St. Helens League South Division title.
