Aerospace firm eyes expansion in Washougal

A California-based aerospace manufacturer has made an offer to purchase a 3.4-acre lot in the Port of Camas-Washougal’s industrial park, where it plans to construct a 16,000-square-foot facility that would bring at least 100 jobs to east Clark County.

Camas mill celebrates its 140th birthday

Camas First Friday visitors who ventured into the Georgia-Pacific paper mill’s interpretive center on Friday, Sept. 1, were treated to a birthday party — complete with cake and free goodies celebrating the mill’s 140th birthday.

Bridge Island Arts and Vintage opens in Camas

Bryce and Shelley Caldwell are no strangers to the art of retailing. The siblings, who recently opened their Bridge Island Arts and Vintage shop in southeast Camas, grew up in Indiana watching their mother, Linda Caldwell, run the country gift shop she operated for two decades.
