Charles “Arlan” Noble

Charles “Arlan” Noble was born on January 25,1941 to Eldon Noble, Sr. and Evelyn Noble. He was raised in Camas, WA (Grass Valley) on the family homestead, where he eventually built a home for his own family and resided until his passing. His entire adult career was spent working at the Chemical and
Research Lab for Crown Zellerbach. He served for six years in the Army National Guard and was a volunteer fireman for Fire District 9 for many years.

Some of the family’s favorite memories of him are watching airplanes at the airport, riding his tractor, dancing and traveling with friends, bringing home interesting animals for the kids to check out, a fascination for anthills and beehives, building new projects or taking things apart to see how they
worked, Sunday drives in the country (sometimes in his 1965 VW Convertible Bug with the entire family packed in), visits to the Humane Society, listening to his favorite music, and making and viewing home videos. He could also stop the rain!

He is survived by his wife, Sharon P. Noble and children, Gerri Colburn (Mitch), Leslie Baker, Kristin Leonard (Tom), Dory Peterson (Brian) and Ryan Noble (Jenny), ten grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and his two brothers, Eldon Noble, Jr. and John Lason Noble. We will honor him with a Celebration of Life at a later date, once the family has had time to grieve and start to fill the void left by his absence.
