Her parents were Robert F. and Carolyn L Danbank.
Brother, David (passed 2022); sister, Susan (Danback) Neilson; daughter, Heather (Danback) Parsons (passed in 2018); she has four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She married Michel T. Fjermestad in 1985.
Karen attended schools in Camas, WA, graduated 1969. She attended Beauty school in Vancouver.
Karen enjoyed knitting, gardening and canning food from her garden. She belonged to the Lacamas Heights Baptist Church in Camas, WA.
Services will be held Northlake Church, 500 SE Everett Rd, Camas, WA, on Saturday, Nov. 19th at 1 p.m.
