Rolf Victor Jemtegaard

Rolf Victor Jemtegaard passed away peacefully Feb. 11, 2021.
Rolf was born in Camas, WA to Rolf Egil and Lilith Mae Jemtegaard. He grew up on the family cattle ranch in Washougal, WA. During and after high school Rolf worked hard as a logger and a rancher, working on the family ranch as well as the Columbia River log boom.
After graduating from Washougal High School Rolf served in the U.S. Army, stationed on the east coast. Once his tour was over Rolf moved back to Washougal and began a forty-year career with Bell Telephone Company as a Cable Splicer. He retired from a celebrated career in 1997.
Rolf enjoyed road trips, gardening and spending time with family and friends. He was a kind man with a great sense of humor. Rolf was a beloved Father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his son, Larry Jemtegaard (Terry); grandsons, Daniel and Shawn Jemtegaard; brother, Arvin Jemtegaard (Ginger); three nephews and three nieces. He will be dearly missed.
