The rope climb obstacle was reportedly among the most challenging aspects of the grueling race. Those who were not able to claw, grab and hoist themselves to the top and ring a bell were required to do 30 burpees --a cross between a jumping Jack and a push-up. The race also included obstacles such as carrying sandbags and bricks, throwing a javelin, climbing up walls, and tipping over tractor tires.
