The Camas magic continued at Doc Harris Stadium Friday night.

The Papermakers pancaked the Evergreen Plainsmen 77-28. John Norcross caught a touchdown, ran in a touchdown and returned an interception for a touchdown. Nate Beasley added three touchdowns. Reilly Hennessey delivered touchdown passes to Norcross, Beasley and Zach Eagle.

Defense also played a big role. Nick Gadbaw blocked a punt, Macon Sumpter recovered the ball and ran it across the goal line to put Camas in the driver’s seat. Norcross snagged two interceptions. He scored on a 7-yard touchdown run following the first one, and ran the second one back 70 yards for his third touchdown of the game.

The Papermakers manufactured a 63-7 lead at halftime. Vince Huber had a 73-yard touchdown run the second quarter. Cole Zarcone and Isiah Ephraim added touchdown runs in the second half.

Camas is ready to rekindle its rivalry with Union Friday, at McKenzie Stadium in Vancouver. Kickoff is at 8 p.m.

This rematch is three years in the making. Back in 2009, the Titans rallied from 17 points down to beat the Papermakers 35-31. Union has a 2-1 record against Camas since the school opened in 2007. The Papermakers are looking to even series in 2012.
