Swim school helps all ages conquer water

The former manager of the Crown Park pool in Camas has opened her own business, providing swimming lessons for children and adults.

Kathi Sjostrom worked for the city of Camas for more than 20 years — off and on from 1993 through 2015 — serving in a variety of roles, including recreation coordinator and pool manager. After her American Red Cross training, Sjostrom has taught water safety, swimming, lifeguarding, babysitting, adult and pediatric CPR and lifesaving classes.
