The Washougal School District will hold a series of “board listening tours” during the next several weeks to gather feedback from community members about its educational programs and operations and capital projects and technologies levies, which failed in February.

The sessions will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at the Cape Horn-Skye Elementary School library; 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at the Washougal High School Library; 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, at the Washougal High School Excelsior building commons; and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, at Bethel Community Church, 1438 “B” St., Washougal.

The open houses provide “an opportunity to chat with a board member and ask questions or share ideas about our schools,” according to the district, which will also hold a virtual open house to discuss the levies from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 10. To RSVP, email kori.kelly@washougalsd.org.
