Washougal woman pursues passion for painting

Brenda Lindstrom has worked as a banker, cosmetologist, esthetician, cosmetology teacher and photographer. She studied business administration in college, traveled internationally, served as a stay-at-home mother and currently helps her husband run his Camas-based small business.

Negotiation over library wages stalls

Charity work ‘true inspiration’ for Washougal quilter

When Heather Farris was growing up, her mother ran a quilting business in Castle Rock, Washington. After some initial reluctance, the younger Farris started to make quilts when she was a teenager and discovered a passion.
