Hathaway Elementary School students planted seeds that will develop into green beans while also growing their knowledge about nutrition and the food cycle during the first Student Well-Being Fair.

Schools host kindergarten round-ups throughout May

Kindergarten registration for the 2018-19 school year is now open, and school leaders have set “kindergarten round-up” dates to help incoming students and their families tour their new school, meet kindergarten teachers and, hopefully, ease any first-day-of-school jitters.

The thought of juggling dance, soccer, track and cross country may sound like a lot of work for a 14 year old, but Jemtegaard Middle School student Paige Maas makes it work.

Camas teacher earns coveted spot on NOAA research ship

Camas High School environmental teacher Jennifer Dean is one of 35 teachers from across the nation selected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to be a part of its Teacher at Sea program, which provides educators with real-world science research experiences.

Sky’s the limit

When Dennis Kozacek started to fly private aircrafts at just 19 years old, he never realized his passion for flying might turn into a career and teaching opportunity.
