Carlson
Lew Carlson and Fern Chambers were married June 22, 1950, at First Methodist Church in Seattle.
They have participated in Camas civic activities. Lew was chairman of the library board for several years, and Fern was a member of the park board for 22 years.
Lew retired as a vice president of technology for communication papers at James River and Fern is a retired middle school teacher.
The couple has two sons, Duane and Jim.
They will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with family.
