Area students named to UW dean’s list

Students from the Camas-Washougal area have been named to the dean’s list at the University of Washington for fall quarter.

To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have completed at least 12 graded credits and have a grade point average of at least 3.5. Students are notified that they have achieved this distinction when they receive their grades for the quarter.

The students are listed alphabetically by home town. They include: Molly Irene Amber, Geoffrey Stephen Broschart, Christopher Ian Charlson, Sean Zhang Cowan, Rona Ding, Peter Harrison Englund, Blair Matthew Hunter, Caley Ann Huss, Aaron Joseph Johnson, Emily Anne Johnson, Brennan Gilronan Loghry, Michael Jordan Lukins, Laura Beth Mulholland, Peter Shevlin Orchard, Brent Anthony Richards, Staehli Koryn Ross, Corbin Sanders Schweitzer, Brent Allen Jr. Stewart, Cody Michael Suhr, Sarah Jane Wolf, Rachel Anne Wolk, Linda Lee Zhang and Evangeline Hanqing Zhou; all of Camas.

Washougal students include Kayla Lee Down, Reiner Larkin Hershaw, John Gabriel Hyder, Megan Mao and Scott Jeff Powell.

PCA open house is set Feb. 11

Pacific Crest Academy, a Catholic school in Camas serving students in preschool through middle school, will hold its annual open house for prospective students on Friday, Feb. 11.

The school will be open for tours during three separate sessions throughout the day. Parents, teachers, administrators and board members will be on hand to answer questions and guide visitors around the school. The open house hours are 9 a.m. to noon; 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
