Durkee

Ron and Dorothy Durkee will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Camas United Methodist Church.

The couple was married June 16, 1961, in Battle Ground. Ron is retired after working as a metal shop teacher at Camas High School for 30 years. Dorothy is retired after working as a teacher at Camas High School and the business education department at Clark College.

Both are members of Camas United Methodist Church and the Camas-Washougal Historical Society.

They have two children, Angela French and her husband Steve, and Gordon Durkee and his wife Cindy; and four grandchildren.
