Claude and Deborah Ann Rorabaugh celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on Saturday, May 14.
The couple met in 1974 while attending the University of Washington, and married May 14, 1976, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Seattle. Deborah earned a bachelor’s degree from the UW and Claude earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University.
They lived in the University district of Seattle until July 1992, when Claude became involved with the Camas radio station as an officer of the corporation that owned what is now KNRK.
The couple has been active in the community with the school district as volunteers. Claude served on the Washougal City Council, and Deborah was a member of the Washougal Park Board.
They have one son, Adam, who graduated from Washougal High School in 2003 and is currently pursuing his PhD at Washington State University in Pullman.
