Support the Washougal library

The Friends of the Washougal Community Library, a support group that raises funds to enhance library programs and activities, would like to invite community support for this valuable resource. Founded in 1924 as a circulating library, our current public library has been in its present location, 1661 “C” St., since 1981.

You can visit the library in person, Tuesday through Saturday. The friendly, helpful staff is there to help with whatever information you may need and their training and library affiliation gives them the expertise and the tools to locate an incredible variety of printed information.

You can help support the library in any or all of these ways:

1 – Use the library. It is free and its mission is to serve all people of all ages.

2 – Come to the Friends’ book sales. At $1.00 for hard-backed books and $0.50 for paperbacks, it would be hard to find a better bargain.

3 – Donate used books and other media to the Friends for the book sale. Donation bins are located in the library and sales are held when enough donations are collected. The Friends thank all community members who have so generously donated in the past.

4 – Support our local library by joining the Friends of the Washougal Community Library. Membership is open to all – yearly dues are $5 for individuals, $10 for families, $2 for seniors and students and $25 for businesses and clubs
