Public Health Advisory Council seeks applicants

The Clark County Board of Health is seeking individuals to fill vacancies on the Public Health Advisory Council.

Applicants are needed for a dentist practicing in Clark County, a consumer of public health services, a representative from the Clark County educational community and a representative from the Clark County Youth Commission, Clark County Youth House, or a local high school or college.

The Public Health Advisory Council provides advice on public health policies, decision-making and practices. Terms will start Oct. 1 and end Sept. 30, 2017.

Applicants must submit a resume or letter of interest to Jennifer Clark, Board of County Commissioners, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver 98666. Applications are also accepted by fax at 397-6058 or by e-mail to jennifer.clark@clark.wa.gov.

The deadline is Thursday, July 24, at 5 p.m.
