Letters to the Editor, Opinion Vote ‘Yes’ on Camas EMS levy
We are having a special election in Camas to confirm or reject a levy renewal at 46 cents per $1,000 property valuation to fund our emergency medical response system at its current levels.
This comes at the one-year anniversary of my life-threatening stroke. They tell me that EMS was with me about five minutes after the call was made. They had me at PeaceHealth Southwest Hospital within 30 minutes of the event, and I got the care I needed.
I urge everyone in Camas to vote for the levy. When it’s you or someone you love, no price is too high and 46 cents per $1,000 would be a bitter regret.
