LIBRARY PROGRAMS

Camas Public Library: Preschool Storytime for children ages 3 to 5 years will be held at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., Friday, July 26, and Tuesday, July 30. Slavic storytime (in Russian and Ukrainian) will begin at 10:15 a.m., Monday, July 29. Korean storytime will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, July 29. Tiny Tots Storytime will be held at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 31. Baby Storytime will be held at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 1. Storytime in the Parks will be held from 11 to 11:30 a.m., Monday, July 29, at Heritage Park, 303 N.E. Lake Road, Camas.Summer Movies will show “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” rated PG-13, from 2 to 4 p.m., with a special guest appearance by R2D2 at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 31. Adults can get free legal advice from attorneys with Basic Counsel from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 31. Teens and adults ages 13 and older can try the virtual reality Oculus Rift or Oculus Go from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, or at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 1. The League of Women Voters will host a “Pizza and Politics” meeting for adults and teens in sixth through 12th grades, to talk about voting in Washington State and new voting regulations, from 6 to 7:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 31. Washougal Community Library: Family storytime, for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and children, will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Friday, July 26. Saturday Games, for children through adults who want to come play a variety of board and card games for all levels, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, July 27. Craft and Play will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, July 30. Christopher Leebrick, an award-winning storyteller, will host a storytelling performance for families from 2 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 31. ART GALLERIES AND MUSEUMS

Attic Gallery: The gallery is showcasing a “Locals Only” show, featuring Camas-Washougal artists, throughout July. Attic Gallery is located at 421 N.E. Cedar St., Camas.

Camas Gallery: Artist Liz Pike’s new “Field of Sunflowers” oil paintings are on display throughout July. The Camas Gallery is located at 408 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. For more information, call 360-817-2415.

Second Story Gallery: “Animalibris,” a paper art show carefully cut by the “Lovebirds Paper” team of Muriel Wheatley and Levi Greenacres, is on display throughout July. The art will be available for viewing during regular library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday through Saturday. SENIOR CITIZENS

Meals on Wheels: Lunches, prepared by The Meals on Wheels People, are served at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, in the Washougal Community Center, at 1681 “C” St., Washougal. Meals on Wheels home delivery is available Monday through Friday. Volunteers are needed. Washougal Senior Center: Meals on Wheels provides coffee from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and serves lunch at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. The center hosts a food bank at 11 a.m., Mondays. Activities offered during the week include: cribbage, bingo, bunco, pinochle, billiards, watercolor painting and exercise classes. A breakfast fundraiser, to support Washougal Community Center activities, is held on the last Friday of each month (except November and December) from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. The cost is $5. A potluck is held on the first Friday of each month. Refuel Friday, sponsored by local churches and nonprofits, is offered from 4 to 6 p.m. every Friday. CLUBS AND GROUPS

Women Supporting Women: A support group for women, ages 55 and older, meets from 1:30 to 3 p.m., on Wednesdays, at Firstenburg Community Center, 700 N.E. 136th Ave., Vancouver. Led by Sandra Soleberg, this is a safe place for women to share hopes, dreams, fears, losses, living with illness, aging and loneliness. Camas Group Recovery: The group meets from 8 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 7 to 8 p.m., on Sundays, at Camas Friends Church, 1004 N.E. Ione St.

Watercolorists group: The watercolor group meets from 1:30 to 3 p.m., every Tuesday, at the Washougal Community Center, 1681 “C” St. This is not an instructed class; however, there is a group critique at the end of the session. All are welcome.

CLASSES

Lacamas Athletic Club: On the first Friday of each month, non-members can visit Lacamas Athletic Club, 2950 N.W. 38th Ave., Camas, free of charge. The gym offers classes, and cardio and weight rooms. For more information, call 360-834-8506.

CLASS REUNIONS

Camas High School class of 1969: The class will hold its 50th class reunion from 5:30 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, at a Beer at a Time, 216 N.E. Third Ave., Camas. Cost is $5. VOLUNTEERS

Lost and Found Cafe: Meals are served to the community at 6 p.m., each Thursday, at the Zion Lutheran Church social hall, 824 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. Volunteer cooks are needed. For more information, call Inter-Faith Treasure House Executive Director Nancy Wilson at 360-834-4181.
