Potential customers browse through the offerings of Camas-based Shady Grove Farm on Saturday during the Camas Plant and Garden Fair in downtown Camas. The annual event featured a selection of plants, trees, garden art, supplies and more provided by a variety of local growers and vendors. PUBLIC MEETINGS

Camas City Council: The council will hold a workshop at 4:30 p.m., Monday, May 20, followed by a regular meeting at 7 p.m., at Camas City Hall, 616 N.E. Fourth Ave.

East County Fire & Rescue: The commission will meet to discuss collective bargaining issues and negotiations at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, May 21, at Station 91, 600 N.E. 267th Ave., Camas.

Camas Planning Commission: The commission will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, at Camas City Hall, 616 N.E. Fourth Ave.

Camas-Washougal Economic Development Association: The CWEDA board will meet at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 23, in the Port of Camas-Washougal office, 24 S. “A” St., Washougal.

SENIOR CITIZENS

Seniors And Law Enforcement Together: SALT will meet from 11 a.m. to noon, Monday, May 20, at 40 Et 8 Boxcar Room, 7607 N.E. 26th Ave., Vancouver. Laura Lou Pape-McCarthy will present Laughter Yoga. SALT meetings are free and open to all seniors.

Meals on Wheels: Lunches, prepared by The Meals on Wheels People, are served at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, in the Washougal Community Center, at 1681 “C” St., Washougal. Meals on Wheels home delivery is available Monday through Friday. Volunteers are needed. Camas Senior Center: The Camas seniors’ monthly casino trip will be held Monday, May 20. The seniors will go to Nisqually Red Wind Casino in Olympia, Washington. The cost is $5. For reservations or more information, call LaRhea Steele at 360-904-4274.

Washougal Senior Center: Meals on Wheels provides coffee from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and serves lunch at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. The center hosts a food bank at 11 a.m., Mondays. Activities offered during the week include: cribbage, bingo, bunco, pinochle, billiards, watercolor painting and exercise classes. A breakfast fundraiser, to support Washougal Community Center activities, is held on the last Friday of each month (except November and December) from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. The cost is $5. A potluck is held on the first Friday of each month. Refuel Friday, sponsored by local churches and nonprofits, is offered from 4 to 6 p.m. every Friday. CLASS REUNIONS

Washougal High School Class of 1999: The class will hold its 20-year reunion Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23. Events include a meet-and-greet event on Friday, a reunion dinner on Saturday and a family picnic on Sunday. The committee is looking for members who do not have social media or do not check social media very often. ART GALLERIES AND MUSEUMS

Second Story Gallery: “Big Skies and Small Wonders” will be presented through May 25, in the gallery, located on the second floor of the Camas Public Library. The dual show features expansive landscapes that form a background for three-dimensional floral stems made of polymer clay. Marilyn Slaby is the sculptor of lifelike blooms, and Mary Chant is the painter of clouds piling up on her horizons. The exhibit is on display during regular library hours, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, at 625 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce: The chamber luncheon will be held Thursday, May 16, at Camas Meadows, 4105 N.W. Camas Meadows Drive. Speaker will be Roni Sasaki with EnviroMet.
