PUBLIC MEETINGS

LIBRARY PROGRAMS

Camas Public Library: The library will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11 in recognition of Veterans Day. Preschool Storytime for children ages 3 to 5 years will be held at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, and Tuesday, Nov. 12. Tiny Tots Storytime will be held at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13. Baby Storytime will be held at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. ART GALLERIES AND MUSEUMS

Attic Gallery: The gallery is showcasing oil paintings by Anna Norris, watercolor paintings by Bill Baily, acrylic paintings by Jean Schwalbe and ceramic sculptures by Terri Axness throughout the month of November. Second Story Gallery: The gallery will feature abstract paintings by Ami Brimhall and pierced pottery vessels by Linda Kliewer during “Holding/Space: Presence and Possibility,” a two-month show that runs throughout October and November. The gallery is located on the second floor of the Camas Public Library. Art is available for viewing during regular library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Art at the Cave: The gallery is showing work from 50 artists involved in the Clark County Open Studios Tour throughout the month of November. The gallery is located at 108 E. CLUBS AND GROUPS

General Federation of Women’s Clubs Camas-Washougal: The group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m., at the Camas Police Department, 2100 N.E. Third Ave., Camas.

Watercolorists group: The watercolor group meets from 1:30 to 3 p.m. every Tuesday, at the Washougal Community Center, 1681 “C” St. This is not an instructed class; however, there is a group critique at the end of the session. All are welcome.
