PUBLIC MEETINGS

Camas School District Board of Directors: The Board will hold its regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at the Zellerbach Administration Center, 841 N.E. 22nd Ave., Camas. For more information, visit camas.wednet.edu.

Washougal City Council: The Council will hold its workshop at 5 p.m. and regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at Washougal City Hall, 1701 “C” St., Washougal. For more information, visit cityofwashougal.us.

Washougal School District Board of Directors: The Board will hold a work session at 5:30 p.m. and regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Hathaway Elementary School, 630 24th St., Washougal.

Clark County Cemetery District No. 1, Fern Prairie: The Board will hold a general business meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the cemetery office, 26700 N.E. Robinson Road, Camas. For more information, call 360-833-9176.

Clark County Parks Advisory Board: The Board will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the 78th Street Operations Center, 4700 N.E. 78th St., Vancouver.

Camas Parks and Recreation Commission: The Commission will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at Lacamas Lake Lodge, 227 N.E. Lake Road, Camas.

SENIOR CITIZENS

Meals on Wheels: Lunches, prepared by the Meals on Wheels People, are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday, in the Washougal Community Center, at 1681 “C” St., Washougal. Meals on Wheels home delivery is available Monday through Friday. Volunteers are needed. Washougal Senior Center: Meals on Wheels provides coffee from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and serves lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday. The center hosts a food bank at 11 a.m. on Mondays. Activities offered during the week include: cribbage, bingo, bunco, pinochle, billiards, watercolor painting and exercise classes. A breakfast fundraiser, to support Washougal Community Center activities, is held on the last Friday of each month (except November and December) from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. The cost is $5. A potluck is held on the first Friday of each month. Refuel Friday, sponsored by local churches and nonprofits, is offered from 4 to 6 p.m. every Friday. CLUBS AND GROUPS

General Federation of Women’s Clubs Camas-Washougal: The group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m., at the Camas Police Department, 2100 N.E. Third Ave., Camas.

Watercolorists group: The watercolor group meets from 1:30 to 3 p.m. every Tuesday, at the Washougal Community Center, 1681 “C” St. This is not an instructed class; however, there is a group critique at the end of the session. All are welcome.

Women Supporting Women: A support group for women, ages 55 and older, meets from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays, at Firstenburg Community Center, 700 N.E. 136th Ave., Vancouver. Led by Sandra Soleberg, this is a safe place for women to share hopes, dreams, fears, losses, living with illness, aging and loneliness. Fort Vancouver Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution: The group will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the Smith-Reynolds American Legion, 4607 N.E. St. James Road, Vancouver. CLASSES

Camas Parks and Recreation Winter Classes: Camas Parks and Recreation has opened registration for winter classes, including yoga classes, fitness camps, tai chi, kung fu for teens and adults, and Weight Watchers. Lacamas Athletic Club: On the first Friday of each month, non-members can visit Lacamas Athletic Club, 2950 N.W. 38th Ave., Camas, free of charge. The gym offers classes, a cardio room and a weight room. For more information, call Karen at 360-834-8506.
