Body of missing Vancouver woman found in Lacamas Lake

Police say they have recovered the body of a missing Vancouver woman in Lacamas Lake.

The family of 56-year-old Terri Kehrli reported her missing to police earlier this week, and said the Vancouver woman had texted a photo of herself kayaking on the Camas lake on Sunday, Oct. 25. 

Police found Kehrli’s vehicle at the Leadbetter Boat Launch and her empty kayak floating on the lake on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Later Tuesday evening, the Clark County Sheriff’s Marine Patrol located and recovered Kehrli’s body from the lake. 

Police say there is no evidence of foul play.

Kehrli’s body has been released to the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office.
