Washougal students to present ‘Sleepy Hollow’ radio play

Canyon Creek Middle School students have begun rehearsals for “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow: The Headless Horseman,” a radio play based on the story by Washington Irving.

The play will be available for free listening on the Washougal School District website from Friday through Sunday, Oct. 28-30.

The production is presented by the district’s Soundstage after-school program.

“Rehearsals are under way and we’re looking forward to presenting this radio play just in time for Halloween,” Soundstage director Diana Larson said. “It is amazing to see these students grow in theatrical skills and in confidence. I’m so proud of them.”
