The annual Camtown Youth Festival and its related Camtown-Forgey art show will return to Camas’ Crown Park on Saturday, June 3. This year’s theme is “Sharing Cultural Diversity.”

The Camtown-Forgey art show offers an opportunity for budding or accomplished artists to participate in an activity which encourages imagination and shares the creativity of our talented youth in our community.  The students’ artwork will be displayed during the one-day event, in Scout Hall located at Crown Park. In addition to the art show, the event will also include a variety of games, crafts, entertainment, food, a flea market, a petting zoo and information tables.

Interested participants can register online by visiting cityofcamas.us/parksrec, clicking on the “Special Events” tab, and then clicking on the “Camtown Youth Festival” tab.  Artists are encouraged to register online; however, an alternative option is available by calling 360-834-5307.  Entry rules and guidelines can be found online at cityofcamas.us/parksrec/page/camtown-youth-festival-0

The festival is a free event designed, programmed and operated by local children. The event is made possible thanks to a partnership between the City of Camas and the Camas School District, and from the support provided by numerous organizations, businesses and individuals.
