Pa’Lante to perform Thursday, July 13 at Crown Park

Camas hosts 29th annual Concerts in the Park series through Aug. 15

The 29th year of free Concerts in the Park returned to Camas this month, with a Collective Nation concert held July 6, at Crown Park, 120 N.E. 17th Ave., Camas.

Held Thursday evenings through Aug. 15, the city-sponsored concerts are free, open to the public and will be held “light rain or shine.”

Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite picnic dinner to enjoy or pick up food at one of the restaurants in Camas’ nearby downtown shopping/dining district. Natalia’s Cafe Too also will have charcuterie board-style meals available onsite during some of the Concerts in the Park events.

Pa’Lante will perform “fiery salsa and Latin jazz” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at Crown Park.

Other Concerts in the Park this summer include:

• Shades of Huey will perform Huey Lewis cover songs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 20, at Crown Park.

• SameWave Radio, a DJ, will perform from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 27, for the Riverside Skatepark’s grand re-opening celebration, at the skatepark, 3010 N.E. Third Ave., Camas.

• Junebugs will perform “high-energy pop meets folk rock” music, with opening band Perfect Harmony Academy of Music from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at Crown Park.

• The 4 Kings will perform soul-jazz and groove music from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug.15, at Fallen Leaf Lake Park, 2911 N.E. Everett St., Camas.
