Camas Police are investigating the discovery of human remains in Camas.

Police said workers conducting vegetation management in a heavily wooded area west of the Georgia-Pacific paper mill discovered the remains of an adult male, later identified as 45-year-old Terry Joe Ross, of Vancouver. Ross’ family had reported him missing earlier this year.

The Clark County Medical Examiner’s office is conducting an autopsy to determine how Ross died.

Camas detectives are leading the investigation.
