The 19th annual Camas Poker Tour and Game Night will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 11, throughout downtown Camas during the Downtown Camas Association’s “Second Friday” event.
Normally held on the first Friday in July, the event has shifted to the second Friday to accommodate the July Fourth holiday.
Sponsored by Camas Antiques, the “Alice in Wonderland” themed July Second Friday event includes a free family friendly poker tour, a variety of “Alice in Wonderland” inspired games and activities, art openings, live music, and shopping and dining specials.
“This month’s First Friday is actually the Second Friday,” said DCA Volunteer and Marketing Coordinator Brie Marais. “After you enjoy your Fourth of July holiday fun, join us on Friday, July 11, for a night of family fun ‘poker,’ whimsical ‘Alice in Wonderland’ games, awesome costumes, live music, shopping, dining and more. A huge thank you to Camas Antiques for sponsoring this event and doing all the card dealing.”
Art shows and exhibit openings on July 11 include “In the Presence of Horses” at Gallery 408, 408 N.E. Fourth Ave., and an art show featuring Camas High School artists at Second Story Gallery on the second floor of the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave. Nuestra Mesa, 228 N.E.
