Federal budget cuts ignore Constitution, have widespread impacts

As rapid changes are taking place in our government it is critical that our congressional representatives hear the voices of the people and act accordingly.

Our representatives need to know how tariffs are affecting family businesses and budgets. For example, effects of budget cuts to jobs and services to veterans, cuts to education such as Head Start, cuts to medical research and treatment, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and many others affect us all. Our congressional representatives need to hear the details of the effects of these budget cuts on their constituents.

These cuts have been undertaken in an illegal manner, ignoring U.S. Constitutional limits to the power of the executive. The Constitution has guided and served our nation well since its inception. The Constitution has made America great.

You and your loved ones are being impacted by these recently enacted policies. Let your voice be heard. It is very important to our lives and our democracy. Contact information for your federal representative can be obtained at wa.gov.
