The city of Washougal is collecting community feedback about three project designs for Schmid Family Park along the Washougal River.

The city is collecting community feedback about three project designs reviewed by the Washougal City Council during an Aug. 25 work session. The city hosted an open house Sept. 3 and tentatively plans to hold a second one Sept. 24.

“This park presents an opportunity to design a place that blends natural beauty, heritage and community use,” Corinthia Barnhart, Washougal’s parks and cemetery manager, said during the workshop.
