Mylee Thompson and Harmony Fallin scored 15 points each to lead the Evergreen girls basketball team to a big 56-48 win over Camas on Tuesday.

Evergreen got scoring from all five starters in the first quarter to build a 20-12 lead.

“We played great defense and kept the lead the whole game,” Evergreen coach Dexter Lesueur said. “Camas was able to cut the lead down to as close as four points, but Evergreen kept responding with our own push.”

Thompson scored nine in the third quarter as Evergreen kept Camas from rallying.

Kimora Ross added 11 points for Evergreen, while Courney Neal had eight points and Camryn Holt added seven.

Lauren Hood had 28 of Camas’ 48 points.

WASHOUGAL 46, RIDGEFIELD 36 — Washougal’s defense came up big in the fourth quarter, helping the Panthers rally for a win.
