Part of Lacamas Regional Park remains closed as bridge replacement project continues

Work to install steel structure should be done by late November or early December

Like many of his neighbors, Camas resident Anthony Metzidis is eagerly waiting for all of Lacamas Regional Park to reopen to the public.

But Metzidis and others will have to wait a little longer. Clark County closed the northeast trails starting in August to allow crews to remove and replace a bridge along the main access road used by both pedestrians and parks maintenance vehicles.
