Late-arriving ballots in primary decline in Clark County

Statewide, number of ballots missing 8 p.m. Election Day deadline rose 32%

Statewide, the number of ballots arriving late surged during the August primary election — but not in Clark County.

Election data shows late ballots — those that were submitted after the 8 p.m. deadline or weren’t postmarked in time — increased by 32 percent statewide when compared with the 2024 primary election. Late ballots in Clark County dropped from 888 in the 2024 primary to 683 in 2026, a decrease of 23 percent.
