Washougal seniors raise more than $2,000 for school lunches

Members of the Washougal Senior Association’s watercolor and rock painting groups have raised more than $2,000 for the Washougal School District’s lunch program.

The groups presented a check for the funds Sept. 29 at the Washougal Community Center to Washougal School District Superintendent Aaron Hansen. Les Brown, the district’s executive director of operations, also attended.
