Washougal paraeducator named state Classified School Employee of the Year

Washougal School District paraeducator Dana Wilson has been named the 2026 State Classified School Employee of the Year by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Wilson began her public education career a decade ago as a volunteer and later worked as a recess assistant and substitute teacher before becoming a paraeducator supporting multilingual learners.
