Washougal begins search for city manager

The Washougal City Council has begun a national search for the city’s next city manager following City Manager David Scott’s announcement that he will retire in the spring of 2027.

The city has hired GMP Consultants, a national executive search firm specializing in public sector leadership, to lead the recruitment. The city expects to have a new city manager in place by mid-March 2027.
