A "For Sale" sign has been removed from the area in front of the building at 528 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. Jerry and Marilyn Nies and Todd and Gina Stevenson, owners of 528 Dallas, LLC, have purchased the 8,793-square-foot commercial structure and .46 acres for $535,000 from Gramercy Investment Trust, of New York. "The building, built in the 50's, has that mid-century architecture look that caught my attention the moment it went up for sale," Jerry Nies said. "It's in great condition and has a full basement --most of which is available for a future tenant." The Stevensons, owners of Medicare Instructors, will open an office next month, in Suite 110. The current lease with Bank of America is in effect through Sept. 30, 2019, with options to renew.

A luncheon, held Feb. 11, at Clark College at Columbia Tech Center, raised $5,644 for Pathways Pregnancy Clinic of Camas. The clinic, located at 1542 N.E. Third Ave., provides free and confidential pregnancy tests and ultrasound examinations for women facing unplanned pregnancies.
