3 vying to be Washougal’s next mayor

Though Camas-Washougal voters will decide most local elections in the November 2021 general elections, there are still three local races — for Washougal’s next mayor and two Camas City Council seats — that need to have their candidate pool whittled down during the August primary election.

Racing is back on at the Washougal MX Park, but motocross enthusiasts have a whole new set of COVID-19 rules and regulations to contend with.

Camas baseball team rides a roller coaster

Rain delayed the showdown between Camas and state champion Skyview until after spring break. In the meantime, the Papermakers took what the rest of the 4A Greater St. Helens League could dish out in three days. Camas shut down Heritage 4-0 Wednesday. McKinley LeFore pitched six innings of 1-hit baseball and gained 10 strikeouts. Sam Jones and Dylan White delivered 2-run doubles.
