Financial aid workshop set
Washington State University Vancouver will host an "A-Z of Financial Aid and Scholarship" workshop Saturday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. at the Vancouver Community Library.

Students from Camas and Washougal high schools combined their efforts to collect a total of 54,000 pounds of food and clothing during the annual Stuff the Bus event.
The Rotary Club of Camas-Washougal kicked off its Gift of Words project recently and will deliver a total of 762 dictionaries to third grade students in Camas and Washougal.
Student of the month selected Curtis Hamilton has been selected as the student of the month at Excelsior High School.
Kathleen T. Brown Kathleen Theresa Brown died peacefully Dec. 6, 2014, at the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver. She was 55.
The general obligation capital bond currently being proposed by the Washougal School District is far from a minor endeavor.

A patron tour of select Washougal schools will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday to better familiarize citizens with the three buildings most heavily impacted if the February bond election is successful.
