Camas Antiques highlighted in national magazine

Downtown store is named one of the top 80 antique malls in the nation

A store in downtown Camas that sells a variety of vintage clothing, glassware, jewelry, furniture and Christmas decor, as well as new products such as children’s clothing and accessories, soaps, lotions, candles and greeting cards, is among the favorite antique malls in the country, as decided by readers of “Flea Market Style” magazine.

The national publication’s list of the top 80 antique malls in the country includes Camas Antiques. The magazine mentions that the store’s inventory is provided by more than 50 dealers.

Camas Antiques owner JoAnn Taylor said she was “surprised and delighted” when she saw the listing in the Fall/Winter issue of the magazine.

“People have seen that and come to Camas and mentioned it,” she said. “I do love that magazine. Anyone interested in the type of decor that we have would love that magazine as well.”

Camas Antiques, which opened in downtown Camas in 2004, has also been mentioned in “Country Living” and American Automobile Association magazines.

The AAA write up for the November/December issue was an “On the Road” feature about downtown Camas, with references also to the Liberty Theatre, K’Syrah, Bloom Organic Body, Navidi’s Olive Oils & Vinegars and Birch Street Uptown Lounge.

Camas Antiques, 305 N.E. Fourth Ave., is open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store will be closed Christmas Day. For more information, call 834-4062 or visit www.camasantiques.blogspot.com/.
