Runyan’s Jewelers reports ring thefts

Camas police seek help to identify suspect

Camas police are hoping someone can identify a man suspected in taking two engagement rings from Runyan’s Jewelers, in downtown Camas.

The suspect, described in a Camas Police news release as an Asian male in his 30’s, allegedly took two rings and left the store, at 327 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas, without paying for them Thursday, Aug. 16.

Camas police responded to the 72-year-old business at 5:30 p.m. The total amount of the loss is more than $5,000.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the surveillance photos is asked to call the Camas Police Department at 360-834-4151.
